Just before the Underpants Run on Thursday morning! Boy was it hot --even at 8:00 AM. The best comment may have been as we ran from the car to the start -- someone asked, "Is that today?" . We all replied, "I sure hope so!".

I'm a mother of two great boys -- Liam and Conor -- and have been competing in triathlons since 1991. I got my husband, Bill, into the sport years ago. Now the whole family is involved -- whether they want to be or not. In 2006, I became "Snickers Girl" as I raced for Snickers Marathon Bars! 2009- my newest venture into figure competitions!

Nice tightey whitey's Deirdre! Did you have to wear the butt band too?
Glad to see you are partaking in all of the fun! We were thinking of organizing an underwear run before our duathlon tomorrow, but it is just so darn cold!
I'm glad I missed that run.
Alas, I skipped the "butt band" for the UP run, but am currently considering an M-dot logo tie-in to the "butt band" before it takes off for 2007 season. Will have to catch Ben Fertic in his free time to nail down negotiations.
