Wednesday happenings. . .

Wednesday was a wonderful day. We started the day off with a photo shoot for the CEO Challenge group. Following that (and an interview of Chuck for Inside Triathlon magazine), we returned to the home and went swimming in the bay. We saw several sea turtles and were able to swim with them for some time. The resort is unbelievable in beauty -- I'll update a picture or two at some point. After our swim, we drove to just before Hawi and dropped Chuck off to ride up and the rest of us drove on to the end of the road. The earthquake damage has been minimal -- mostly cracks in some roads and rock slides. After we picked up Chuck on the way back, we stopped to buy some fresh roasted chicken, ribs and papaya along a roadside stand. The smell drove us crazy on the ride back! Upon our arrival, we feasted on our fresh purchase and took a short nap to be ready for the VIP reception in the evening.
