You may remember the old Wes Hobson commercial that shows him explaining how he prepares for the swim in a triathlon . . . he heads to the water and his buddies start beating the heck out of him with kayak paddles . . . well, here's my training secret! Conor delivers a nice elbow during the Kids Race in Lake Placid!

I'm a mother of two great boys -- Liam and Conor -- and have been competing in triathlons since 1991. I got my husband, Bill, into the sport years ago. Now the whole family is involved -- whether they want to be or not. In 2006, I became "Snickers Girl" as I raced for Snickers Marathon Bars! 2009- my newest venture into figure competitions!

ditto e-speed. Maybe I'll show up to my next race with a pair of those.
I think we should all wear them for the Greater Cleveland Tri . . .
I am totally getting a pair of those....
