Race morning was beautiful and calm. Also, overcast -- nice! The swim looked perfect. Well, it turns out the current was pretty strong out in the bay. There were quite a few who didn't make the swim cut off. Dick and Rick Hoyt were unable to complete the swim this year. They are a class act.

I'm a mother of two great boys -- Liam and Conor -- and have been competing in triathlons since 1991. I got my husband, Bill, into the sport years ago. Now the whole family is involved -- whether they want to be or not. In 2006, I became "Snickers Girl" as I raced for Snickers Marathon Bars! 2009- my newest venture into figure competitions!
