Who knew this was going to be the way my season ended?? Carnation Tri in Alliance was cold and rainy but I kept my streak for age group wins alive. My left calf has been swelling ever since and I'm off running until it settles down. Hopefully soon . . . . inactivity does NOT suit me one bit!

I'm a mother of two great boys -- Liam and Conor -- and have been competing in triathlons since 1991. I got my husband, Bill, into the sport years ago. Now the whole family is involved -- whether they want to be or not. In 2006, I became "Snickers Girl" as I raced for Snickers Marathon Bars! 2009- my newest venture into figure competitions!

Great thing about cross training is that there is always something we can do when injured.
